BEWARE……this is a cautionary story. I was taken in by the internet site for Shoo Republic and Kenggi selling quality but discounted UGG look-alike boots from Australia. In the end though it was not worth the trouble as the payment on delivery of VAT or TVA or Sales Tax here in Europe and a handling charge by the shipper meant a 40 % extra surcharge on top of the purchase price and shipping costs from Australia. The total cost ended up just short of the price for real UGGs from their official site including delivery and no extras. Of course these extra costs are referred to on the Shoo Republic website if you are prepared to look but no indication as to the likely total cost implication….it is down to you the client to enquire of the Authorities in your country of residence………. but I can vouch it is a very expensive on cost which is not transparent. It is really not worth importing these boots into Europe.
