I contacted my bank to lodge a dispute following five months attempting to seek a refund from Improve Health for goods not received (they were able to charge my credit card before I cancelled the account). Improve Health promised they had processed a refund twice and kept me hanging on for months with lies and obfuscation. The bank's credit card department reported that THOUSANDS of people have been defrauded by this firm, and disputes are occupying 90 per cent of the bank's time. The company sets up for short periods in strange countries overseas, and frequently changes name, address, and banking details to stay ahead of the growing number of angry people who have been defrauded. They will not assist in any way and keep stringing complainants along in the hope they will give up and go away. I reported the case to the Department of Justice scam reporting mechanism in Australia, but there is a limit to what they can do. It is a case of caveat emptor (buyer beware), but this is truly a scam. The company takes no responsibility for anything and lies brazenly to avoid returning money. I am still seeking a refund (after being advised it had already been processed) five months later.
