Antivirus package for home computer
I have been billed for items I did not want or orde

On the 5th of August I discovered my AVG Antivirus registration was expired and had been for a couple of months. I clicked onthe AVG Antivirus icon at the bottom of our computer screen and it came up that my computer had 44 viruses and was in danger of crashing and that it did not have enough parametre(?) to allow me to re-register. I then discovered another icon at the bottom of my screen with the same trademark colours as AVG but was in the shape of a shield and it came up as simply 'Antivirus'. When I clicked on this icon it came up with a registration form for and antivirus package reduced from approx $95 to approx $50. I filled out the registration form and then two packages came up on the screen, I can't remember the exact amounts but one was for around $40 and the other around$60 then it displayed a purchase icon to click on. I clicked on the cheaper one but nothing happened so I then clicked on the purchase icon assuming I was purchasing the first/original package that was shown before having to fill in registration form. After doing this I had an uneasy feeling about the lack of clarity in what I had purchased so I tried to access the product I was trying to purchase but it never came up again, only the second two packages that showed up after filling out rego form. I then rang my credit card company and in the space of the half hour there had been 5 transactions made by you totalling $229.70. All the amounts except for two were of different amounts and none the same as the original product I was trying to buy. I cancelled my card immediately and explained to my credit card company what had happened. The transactions have since been completed and I am currently disputing them. I had accessed that same shield icon later that evening and clicked on support icon as this was their only form of commmunication and explained the situation and asked them to respond via email. I checked the next morning, 6th August, and they had not yet replied so I sent another email and they have still not responded. That afternoon on the 6th the icon was no longer displayed and I have no way of finding it or knowing if I have received the supposed goods I have purchased. I fear this was a scam and if you could contact me at the above mentioned email address a.s.a.p. it would be greatly appreciated.
