My first attempt at building an adwords account got me suspended due to google employees failing to be clear and direct in what their internal polices are

I have no intention of letting this go.
I have put up one site and have been working with adwords staff to

to be unsuspended?
is there anything wrong with the site (now that it has been improved
according to the below emails?
if you are unable to help me please escalate to the apppropriate
person whom can?

Hi Paulose,
I have added the following to the site"
Disclaimer: The information on this website is not intended to replace
medical advice. Before beginning this or any other nutritional or
exercise regimen, consult your physician to be sure it is appropriate
for you. weight loss results ilustrated in the testimonials above are
indicative of the individuals only and weight loss results may vary
dependant uponn age, starting weight, height and other factors also.
The desk job diet works for almost all of our customers, but a small
percentage may not t lose weight. Unfortunately The desk job diet
can't help everyone. Due to this fact we have a RISK FREE money back
guarantee! Here it is: Try thisdiet, as directed, for up to 60 days
and if you don't lose weight, we'll refund 100% of your purchase
price.

"
as the footer to the site. Now the number of disclaimers exceeds the
number of supposed claims and account for 10% of the website word
count!.
Please approve the site now
Note, if this is not acceptable can you please:
1. show me where the claims (in medical terms and by medical
definitions e.g. FDA guidelines) are in the website, as I don't
believe I havve made any,
2. provide me with a text copy (not a link) of the particular policy
you are referring to for my records.
3. escalate this to someone whom I can have a phone conversation with
to ensure that the site can be acceptable to both parties.

So we can ensure that no further time is lost and clear communication
is available to me to meet your requirements
personally I am quite angry at the degree to which I am being
penalised by adwords and my brand is being erroded. It seems to me
that adwords is dictating how the diet products are to be marketed
outside of free market laws.

To date I have met all the requirements requested in the last 17
emails and should this continue I will be seeking legal advice.
Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. From your mail I understand that you are not sure about which policy your site is in violation of. Your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com' is in violation of our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy.

As I informed you in my previous mails, our policy does not allow the promotion of sites which make misleading or exaggerated claims. I know that according to you your site might not be making exaggerated claims, but our policy is applicable to all our advertisers and this is why we can not make an exception.

I understand that you have made the statement '* Individual results may vary' in bold. This is a good start to getting your site enabled, but you could also consider explaining any health affects or side effects that may be caused by following your programme, you can also consider including the disclaimer multiple times on your site.

Scott, I really appreciate all the efforts that you are taking to get your site compliant per our policies. Please make the necessary changes to your site and write back to me.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Paulose

HI paulose, the line individialy results may vary has been added in
bold to the testimonials section.please appove my campaign immediately
thanks
Hi paulose,
please define prominent for me, I have added a caveat on the front
page but this doesn't seem to be enough
Also please detail exactly what policy is being violated. None of the
claims on this site are unrealistic, indeed the concept of the book is
a simple common sense diet. so I don't inderstand what the issue is
here?
Thanks
Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. Firstly I would like to give you some fantastic news. Our specialists have informed me that they have finished reviewing your site www.weatherwash.com.au. They have confirmed to me that this site is currently compliant per our policies and hence re-enabled.

With regard to the site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com', I reviewed this site today and I found that it is still in violation of our policies. The disclaimer on your site needs to be prominent, it has to explain the average results, any health affects or side effects that may be caused by following your programme, you can also consider including the disclaimer multiple times on your site.

Scott, please write to me once you make the necessary changes to your site. I really appreciate all the efforts that you have taken till now to try and make your site compliant per our policies.

Please know that your account can only unsuspended once all the sites promoted through your account have been re-enabled.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Paulose

Thankyou
I have included a disclaimer around individual results.please restore
my campaign
Mind you testimonials are not considered claims by definition, as I
make no claims for my book, but are refferrals from my clients.
However, in the interests of cooperation. I have amended my site.
Please approve now as the campaigns have not been functional for a
week and should any further delay occur, I shall be seeking
compensation for lost business from both sites.
thankyou
Scott,

Thank you for your email. Please know that the review of your site is done by a specialist team, this is why I escalated your site for a review.

Scott, our specialists have got back to me regarding the status of your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com'. They have informed me that your site is still in violation of our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy.

I suggest that you add a prominent disclaimer on your site which clearly explains that individual results vary.

When I reviewed your account '774-799-4873' today I found that your account had been suspended. Your account was suspended as the site www.Weatherwash.com.au that you promoted was disabled per our policies in addition to the disabling of the site www.thedeskjobdiet.com.

The site www.Weatherwash.com.au was disabled per our Made For Ads-Parked Domain policy. As per our policy we do not allow the promotion of parked domains.

It could be that your site was temporarily down which caused the disabling of this site. After reviewing the site www.Weatherwash.com.au today I have decided to escalate your site to our specialists for a re-review. We aim to complete this investigation within 3 business days.

While our specialists review the site 'www.Weatherwash.com.au' I suggest that you work on the site www.thedeskjobdiet.com. Please know that your account can only be unsuspended once all the sites promoted through your account is re-enabled.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Paulose
The Google Australia & NZ AdWords Team

Hello again,
okay I have removed the email form so there is no harvesting issue
and have altered the testimonials to remove the timeframe
please approve my ad.

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you have made changes to your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com'. I really appreciate your effort in trying to make your site compliant per our policies.

I reviewed your site once again today and found that your site is still in violation of our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy. Your site still contains statements such as “I started the desk job diet in the middle of June, now almost exactly 5 months later I am down 30 pounds." etc which are in violation of our policies.

I also found that your site is still in potential violation of our Information Harvesting policy.

Scott, to comply with our policies please consider removing any misleading claims from your site and also consider including a link to your Privacy Policy which clearly explains the following points:

* What personal information is collected from the user
* How this information will be used by the company
* How the company transfers data to third-party companies
* How to modify or delete this personal information or opt-out

Once you make the necessary changes to your site please write back to me and I will re-review your site.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Paulose

hello I have updated the site to reflect the changes mentioned below
please approve my campaignas I am keen to sell my self published book
and the initial results have been very encouraging.
thanksHello Scott,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you are concerned about the
disapproved ad in the campaign 'Campaign #1'. The ad in this campaign is
disapproved as the site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com' that this ad is promoting
is in violation of our Bridge Page policy and our Misleading and
Inaccurate claims policy.

As per our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy we do not allow the
promotion of sites which contain misleading or inaccurate claims. We
believe that such sites lead to a bad user experience.

Your site contains misleading statements like 'I have been dieting and
following the desk job diet seriously for 6 months. In that time, I have
lost a reasonable amount of weight and increased my job performance
incredibly. I started off at 200 lbs. I am now at 152 and starting to
maintain...', 'A Fast and Easy dieting solution is possible for you!' etc,
such claims are in violation of our policies.

You can read more on our misleading and inaccurate claims policy at
:http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/static.py? hl=en&page=guide.cs&guide=1308243&topic=1310877&answer=190441
.

To comply with our policies please remove any misleading and inaccurate
claims from your site.

Currently I do not see that your site is in violation of our Bridge Page
Policy. But your site is in potential violation of our Arbitrage policy.
As per our policy we do not allow the promotion of sites which primarily
aim at showing ads while providing little value to the users. We believe
that such sites lead to a bad user experience. I see that your site has
many ads.

To comply with our Arbitrage policy you can consider reducing the number
of ads on your site, add more unique content on your site, add a feature
which allows users to write their feedback on your site, these are just a
few suggestions that I through of please feel free to make any changes
that you think are apt for your site.

I also found that your site is in potential violation of our Information
Harvesting Policy. As per our policy, when a site collects personal
information of users, the site should have a separate link to a Privacy
Policy on every page where the personal information of users are
collected. The Privacy Policy should explain in detail how the information
collected is going to be used.

I see that your site collects personal information of users but does
not have a separate link to a Privacy Policy. To comply with
our policies you can consider adding a separate link to a Privacy Policy
to any page which collects personal information on your site.

- If collecting personal information from users, make sure you have a
privacy policy that covers the following topics:
* What personal information is collected from the user
* How this information will be used by the company
* How the company transfers data to third-party companies
* How to modify or delete this personal information or opt-out

Please clearly mention how users can opt out of any mailing lists that
they may enter by entering their personal information on your site.

Scott, please make the necessary changes to your site and write back to me
so that I can escalate your site to our specialists for a re-review.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Paulose
