Purchased a grundig 22 lcd/dvd/hdtv 2/1/09 @ cost $720.00 with the stimulus package for aged pensioners. on the 21/1/09 called for a replacement remote, again 19/5/09 as the sensor was not following the remote and no it was not the batteries. I guess everything manufactured has to have some problems but it takes so much time and trouble contacting people for repairs getting job numbers and faxing, at my cost, details of purchase. Only today the 16th June 09 have I finally received a reply from the repairer that the replacement part has arrived. Surely this is not good enough putting people through this process particularly older women and then being fobbed off when asked for a return call when THE Person at the store was not available. I am heartly disappointed with Harvey Norman albeit it is not their problem but when you sell a lemon please replace the set with a new one. It is somewhat outrageous that many people have problems but give up in the process of seeking a fair outcome.
Cheers
Never again
