I booked some flights in Europe with eDreams. Their booking fees of 35 euro per flight were higher than average for an online travel agent but I didn't really notice at the time. Unfortunately I fell very ill and had to cancel my travel plans. I sent eDreams two emails, both of which ignored my request and simply referred me to their customer service hotline that charges $3.63 per minute. There are adult entertainment hotlines that charge less and at least with them there is a happy ending unlike eDreams. I was forced to call the hotline. During the phone call I was put on hold 3 times for a total hold time of 15 minutes. They charged me $50 to listen to really bad hold music. eDreams was able to refund one of my flights and some taxes on the other flight. They charged me another 70 euros for cancellation on top of the airline cancel fees. The call also ended up costing me around $75, which was almost as much as my refund. Overall about $500 down the drain. Will never use this company again. Please use a real travel agent.
