Wave GT-S8500 Smart Phone

I bought a Samsung Wave GT-S8500. I love the phone, it's looks and features are awesome. However, I cannot hold a conversation with anyone because it just keeps intermittently cutting out. Both me and the person on the other side hear each other's conversation as if we were rapidly changing stations on a radio. The staff where I bought the phone were extremely helpful but to no avail. They replaced the phone for the same one (I didn't want a different one) three times and also replaced the sim card three times. The quality of the calls had not changed at all. They sent the phone to get it fixed. It came back supposedly fixed but still, same problem. I gave up and now I just have to live with it. I usually have to use my home phone or if I get a call on the Wave, I have to tell the caller to ring a friend's phone or wait until I can ring them from another phone.

Recently I found out an aquaintance of mine had the same phone and same problem. She went through the same scenario as I have. Replacement phone, sim, repairs, etc. She got no satisfaction either. She called Samsung who said they could offer no help.

I phoned Samsung and asked a Tech if it was possible to get the design of the Wave reviewed but he said he didn't think so. So that's it. The very sleek and smart Samsung Wave GT-S8500 is a top phone if you don't use it for phone conversations.
