Bought a Grundig GDVR1TBFV PVR from Harvey Norman, Erina in 2012.From the moment I brought it home it froze up, often several times a day and sheduled recordings were only successful for 70% of the time. This sort of defeated the purpose of a video recorder. Contacted Grundig help line and when I could get through, was told to update software. As software was up to date nothing improved. Contacting Harvey Norman their advice was to contact helpline. This went on for several months until new software was available. This improved freezing up somewhat but recording was still unreliable. Not long after this access to the onscreen program guide stopped. As this was the only way to program recordings the PVR was now useless. Returned it to Harvey Norman and informed salesman I wanted refund. Was told to leave machine with them as they needed to contact Grundig and a refund shouldn't be a problem. When contacted by salesman I was informed that Grundig only wanted to repair not refund. At this point I told them to keep it. I'd already wasted too much of my life on this piece of junk.
