MY LAST COMMUNICATION WITH DINODIRECT AFTER PURCHASING MOBILE PHONE IN SEPT AND NOW IN NEED OF LCD SCREEN REPLACEMENT:
1/ DAPENG A8500 ANDROID 3G is shown in photo, blurred or not – it is definitely NOT LANYU
2/ Yes I am honest, No you are not being honest
3/ Yes I have had the phone since September, yes it is what I ordered as in; it is similar to a “smartphone” which was the description given to me via ‘on-line’ chat at the time of looking for a mobile to buy
4/ NO it is not what was listed on YOUR invoice which listed a LANYU android phone. WHY!!?? would I not knowing anything about phones question that it was not a LANYU? The point is you are not honest and you have not sent actual item identical to item listed as being sold on your website. All of this has nothing to do with item I wanted to purchase which was an Android Smartphone, didn’t know anything about brand Name. Again this is irrelevant you sold a completely different product to what you advertised and invoiced to me, nothing to do with it not being the item I ordered or wanted.
5/ I have wasted time looking for an LCD screen replacement for Lanyu mobile; and as you have not been helpful right from the onset, I was looking for the incorrect website. Your repetitious replies; “please send photos”; “no longer in stock”; “no longer available”; “no longer contact with supplier”; have just disgusted me, very unhelpful replies especially relating to something you have stocked and sold and now unable to follow up and all of this negative “after sales” help within FOUR months of purchasing item from you.
6/ Then it was pointed out to me by a mobile repair person here in Australia, surprise! surprise! that the best place to check what brand the mobile is to actually remove the battery and look under where battery goes. He was telling me this NOT because anyone doubted what brand the mobile was BUT because he wanted to be sure which mobile LCD screen he would be looking for so as to repair MY phone. So taking DinoDirect as giving me the correct brand name and information on the invoice and trying to search for Lanyu has all been a waste of time on my part, due to DinoDirect’s dishonesty and incorrect information initially about the phone.
7/ I did NOT ‘get it dropped on the floor’ – it was accidently dropped by my partner as I have honestly reported. Then I learned from people who have had more experience with these type of phones say it perhaps was faulty due to the fact that where it was actually dropped, it should not have smashed the internal LCD screen and as it is only a few months old PERHAPS the supplier would check this out. I was just pointing out this fact to you which I had been told from someone else. I am not trying to get a new phone OR I was not until it was suggested that given the amount of time and the minimal impact when dropped the phone perhaps had a fault. However you do not have any “after sales” manner that in any way eases the inconvenience to those that have purchased from you. The least you could have done is given me a contact address, email address; something that I could have used to contact the correct supplier.
8/ What would I do with a $20 giftcard, no doubt only valid if used to purchase through DinoDirect. Again disappointed and insulted with your offer, absolutely disgusting “after sales” service.
9/ I now rate you with another company name “Telstra” which I can honestly say if both you and they were the last available places to purchase from, I WILL GO WITHOUT.
AT THE LEAST as an appropriate “after sales” action in my view, you could have contacted the supplier and organised an LCD screen to be shipped to me or to you and I would have paid for it, now that I have found people who can repair it IF I could get the correct LCD screen.
DinoDirect has been of NO HELP and your after sales service leaves me greatly disappointed.

We know you are honest and we never doubt about it. But this phone was ordered in September and you have used it for a long time. If it is not what you ordered, you were supposed to tell us once you receive it. What's more, you got it dropped on the floor. So the most we can offer is 20 usd giftcard. If you accept, we will issue for you now. Otherwise, we can do nothing about this issue. Your understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.
