Bought an Intel motherboard.
Received a different Intel motherboard - company who supplied it shonky as hell.
When I contacted Intel they supported the fraudulent transaction, and refused me all warranty on the motherboard I had received - both decisions taken completely illegally by Intel.
According to Intel's published policies the CEO gives a written pledge to exceed all legal requirements - well that ain't true in any way shape or form. Still the amount he earns means he can say and do what he and Intel likes.
Even spoke to an Intel lawyer who agreed that it was illegal, and then Intel just told me to take them to Court if I could!
You can't avoid buying Intel processors - but anything else - well good luck with that - its easy to see how they put AMD down over the years with their secret supplier agreements. Intel considers itself above the law now, and acts like a thug to its endusers.
