Not enough info on boarding pass

My name is Bari Mohammed, my wife Shahana moin Mohammed and my son Mohammed Abdul Haiy departed from melbourne (24/10) to KL and then to dubai, and their destination was Hyderabad India... and during transit in dubai the boarding pass was given with no information of which gate they have to board the plane, because of that about 8 passengers missed the flight, and out of 8 my wife and my son were the victims... when my wife approached the staff of emirates they are saying my wife needs to pay about $ 600 to catch the next flight without any fault my wife paid that amount and eventually she arrived at Hyderabad. I need full compensation of the problems faced by my wife and my kid, since then my wife and my kid are sick because of flight delay as well as the stress they faced on the airport... Please respond to me asap so the matter can be resolved or else I dont have any option to go further and take any legal action and I will contact press and the Today Tonight Media in Australia...
