Good Life purchased this gym in high st armadale and over the past 6 months there maintenance of equip and service has deteriorated.
One cross trainer broke and was removed rather than replaced. Several other cross taininer are defective and have not been fixed. One has no resistance and has been this way for over 8 months.
A number of treadmills are
- tagged out of order but have not been fixed for weeks (2)
- Have defects such as the treadmill keeps going or they won't reset (2)
-Have personal TV screens that either do not work or only work on one channel or have other issues and cannot be used (at least 4)
The spa has been mostly not working for the whole of 2012 and is still out of action
The aircond in the upstairs female change room has not worked since some time in 2011
When I was in the gym on the week end 20 minutes before closing time about 2 weeks ago (May) The guy who was in charge of the gym told all members that they gym was closing in 10 minutes and that we should finish up. His manner was very dictatorial and cocky and arrogant.
At 8 minutes to the time of closing he stood over me and demanded that I leave straight away. When I said I was going to complain he said that he had to clear the gym early as that is what the gym manager JAI had strictly instructed him to do.
I am sure there are other issues that I am not aware of as I do not do classes so I cannot comment on these. But I did watch a zumba class (I have done these elsewhere and it was appalling.
