McDonalds
Suspect food

On Monday 25th June I decided to try one of the new meals currently being advertised on TV as part of McDonald's sponsorship of the Olympic Games. At approx 2.00pm I visited their Warrnambool Central restaurant(?) and ordered a "Sydney Stack"medium meal. The Store was only about 1/10 full at the time so the meal arrived quite quickly.
When I commenced eating the "Stack"I noticed a slightly peculiar smell emanating from the burger but continued to eat in the belief that it may well have been the combination of ingredients... WRONG... The outer edges of the meat on one one side were off and after I finished my meal and the the premises I felt like I'd eaten a house brick as the burger sat in my stomach like one.
By the time I arrived home (approx 10 minutes) I felt decidedly ill and I believe as a result of eating the burger I had a mild case of food poisoning and lay the blame firmly at the feet of the staff for using meat that obviously had been exposed to the elements for some time before being prepared.
I'm sure the "Sydney Stack"under normal circumstances is a very pleasant meal but in my experience (on this day) it was crap and although I was disappointed it was not unexpected as over the years I have found this particular store to be less than the standard one expects to find in a McDonald's. Often dirty, with overflowing bins, tables (and floors) littered with rubbish from lazy customers and staff nowhere to be found.
Convenient... yes. Great... not so, need to lift their game. Just because it's "fast food"is no excuse for slovenlyness
