Christmas mean to be full of happiness, unfortunately it's not how I feel, because I will be having a Christmas in a city of over 40 degree without a fridge.
I couldn’t find anything feedback or customer service session in Harvey Norman’s website, so I’d like to share this disappointing experience with Complaint Board.
I bought a WSE6100WA fridge from Harvey Norman Port Hedland on 4 December, It was printed on the invoice is "Stock from warehouse". However on 7 December, a displayed sample arrive our house, we refused it. I rang up the next day and was told a new one has been ordered and would arriving Harvey Norman shop and delivery to me on 24 December. I haven’t heard anything during 8 -22 December, I rang up again on 23 December just to make sure Fridge will be there in next day, then they finally told me that there is NO fridge for me because it’s sold out in Australia, the order from Vietnam will be arrive on 14 Jan 10. I would appreciate a phone call in advance to tell me I wouldn’t get Fridge before Christmas so I can prepare working around it.
The Fridge was sold at a low price, but that’s what they said on the flyer and that’s why we walk in Harvey Norman not other shops. Shop manager suggested me to pay more switch to a different model. NO, that means I’ve been waiting for all this time for nothing. I could have paid that amount of money and got Fridge two weeks ago at other shops.
We’ve been working so hard whole year, and recently move to a new house, we arrange people around on Boxing Day and so looking forward to have a family/friends gathering to relax and celebrate the festival season. I don’t think this is going to happen with out fridge.
I still want this Fridge so I wait, after that I don’t see I would ever walk in Harvey Norman shop again.
