I signed a contract with Formula Homes and paid a deposit for a home. In 10 months I received 2 sets of final drawings, both had the wrong facade and were sent back. I was then sent a variation for the correct facade with an extra cost of $6000. The customer service coordinater, Gary, said the salesman made a mistake and the facade I was sold is an extra $6000 and I was told to sign and send back the variation. I refused, as I had a signed contract for that facade and that price.
Gary was extremely rude and uncooperative and every time he rang, he just wanted to argue. He has no problem solving skills or customer service skills. I got to the stage where I would not answer the phone if they rang as I was sick of arguing with them.
I had 2 color appointments, the first one the drawings were not ready so we had to cancel and the next appointment, which took 6 hours, they lost the selections.
By this stage, I had no confidence that they were even capable of building a house.
Then in October, after 10 months, they ended the contract by letter and said they would refund my deposit, I"m still waiting for my deposit. Its been 7 months and no sign of my deposit.
