I went in to this shop to purchase a new gaming rig, after being rudely ignored for the 15 mins i was walking around their shop, bear in mind i was the only fucking customer in the shop i went to the counter to get some assistance.
The "technican" and i use that term very very lightly managed to pull himself away from what looked to be some kind of torrent downloading service and greeted me with a rude grunt, i proceded to talk to him about a new i7 processor which he laughed in my face and said "mate, its a intel 17 (seventeen) processor, Do you really need somthing like that ? " i continued to explain that i wanted the best machine i possibly could get and that i wanted sli with watercooling on both the gpu and cpu. He told me that there was no such thing as watercooling and that only a " fucking moron " would be the kind of person to use water inside a computer. I left after that and i will never go back to that shop again.
they managed to lose at least $5000 from that one sale as i purchased it from another shop in lambton called " Computer Pitstop" fully equiped with sli GTX285 and a core I7 965. i am more than happy with the service i recived from " computer pitstop " but am appauled with Dcomp.
I have many friends who share the same hobbies as i do and i can assure you that not one of them will enter a dcomp shop ever again.
I find it hard to believe that they have so many shops around and are still opening them (westfield kotara)
