This company imports motorcycles directly from China and then sells them direct to the consumer (still in the shipping crate) through Ebay. They have a clever but misleading marketing plan and advertising spiel.
I purchased a quad (motorcycle) from the company and assembled it. I found the following:
Floppy rear axle spline (or wheel hub), misaligned front axle, brakes grab and release uncontrollably, faulty engine (unknown components) causing oil to blow out of the relief valve, fuel leaking out of damaged fuel filter and fuel line, cooling fan worked for a few minutes but then died, headlight bracket broken, seat badly constructed is floppy and will not secure, entire quad is unstable and dangerous to operate.
I purchased this quad for my younger daughters so they could ride around on the farm. When they rode the bike it almost flipped them off (twice) and this concerned me (initially I thought it was their inexperience). I eventually rode it myself and found it to be incredibly unstable - infact it almost flipped me off also. Then, returning to the house, smoke came out from the engine area and I realised fuel was leaking onto the exhaust manifold.
The quad is beyond any reasonable safety standard and as such could not be used. I am very dissappointed in the purchase.
Apparently, the bike was damaged - dropped from a height - (during transit) by the couriers prior to intitial delivery, however, No1 Deals state these were only minor damages.
I requested a full refund $1049.00 based on; damage caused by the courier, faulty workmanship, poor quality assurance and compromised safety characteristics. But refunds are obviously not their policy. No1 Deals are adamant that because I had ridden the bike, there will be no refund (even though it was ridden for no more than 20 minutes in total).
I found them (Claire from No 1 Deals) to be rude and un-sympathetic in communications . I returned the product to them and have not heard anything since.
