I paid business class fare Perth - Los Angelos and found half the cabin was upgraded due to overbooking. Thatas fine we then waited 55 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink by this time it was 1am and then another 3 hoursand twenty minutes to be feed. Thats right it was now 4.15am and we still had cabin light blaring and cabin staff still looked like they hadn't even flown before let alone trained to be flight attendents. A number of passengers brought this to the attendent in charge of the cabin be to told it was the cateringcompany in Los Angelos was at fault. No it wasn't it was poor organization a lack of food and an attitude that we were at party that was the problem. Flat seats yes but the width is a joke compared to others. Three seats in the middle. Great if you are given one and don't know the other people. The stand up bar a joke and of no use to anyone. I sat next to a person who was from a major company and was considering moving all their travel to VAustralia from Qantas. He quickly changed his mind. The only people who enjoyed that flight was the plebs that were upgraded and hadn't flown business or first class before and found they could get more than one drink on a 14 hour flight as for the rest of us to watch VAustralia's staff was like watching sheep in a paddock---- No one knew what to do so they followed each other doing nothing unless directed by passengers. Do your self a favour go with another airline. Even the yanks make this company look professional
