I wish to make a complaint about SeaChange Removals who accepted my request to move all of my furniture on November 3rd only to SMS me on the morning of the move and tell me they could no longer do it and to find myself another removalist. No apology for abandoning this booking was given and I haven't received one since. While I acknowledge that there are several circumstances where companies need to break previously made commitments (truck breaks down, people get sick etc). what I find unforgivable and inexcusable is the use of SMS to tell a customer to find someone else. As a result for anyone looking for a removalist in Sydney I'd strongly suggest that they steer away from SeaChange Removals because if they can do this once who's to say they won't do it again. Moving at any time is stressful enough without having the extra worry of wondering whether or not the removalist you've booked is even going to show up.
