I am writing this letter to you to describe my recent experience with Qantas Airways and to convey the utter disdain that I feel towards your company.
I am a frequent business and holiday air traveller.
Of the various airlines with which I and my family are customers, including Emirates, SAA, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, Qantas is without a doubt the worst airline I have ever travelled on and I make this judgement having flown it several times.
My family and I were passengers on Qantas flight QF063 from Sydney to Johannesburg on Friday, 4 January 2013.
On this particular journey I was travelling in Economy class with my husband and 11 month old daughter and was absolutely horrified by the service (or lack thereof) we received, from the point of arrival at the airport right up until landing in Johannesburg.
We arrived at the airport 3 hours before take-off. On check in - we were advised that it was necessary for us to hand in our pram since there was a possibility it was too wide to deliver to the hold at the boarding gate.
We were given comfort with the fact that it would be ok since we would be provided with a Qantas stroller for use until boa
