On the 10 June I was on Face Book and this persistent pop-up was inviting me to answer few simple trivia questions and win a i-pad. After few persistent attempts by the pop-up provider I decided to enter the contest. The aim was to send sms messages in order to confirm each answer to each question. I was aware that the cost for my sms were 25 cents but I was not made aware that the reverse reply sms was at $5.00 each and that the test had to go on and on. I have the bill from Virgin Mobile to prove it)
The questions went for quite some time seming that ther was no end.. I must admit that I was getting carried away by how good I was going. Finally the last message was "you have answered enough questions ad you will be notified if you win a I -pad" or something similar. I have incurred a bill of $262.50 for entering this contest. It is a real rip-off and a case of fraud. Virgin bill cannot be changed the only advise they give is to be alert in the future of these PSMS charges from doubtful service providers.
