I was approached by a van, whilst I was walking in the city of Melbourne. I was crossing the lights, when I was approached, and they tried to sell me a bunch of Fleetwood speakers and fleetwood 5.1 system.. They seemed to be in a hurry. There was three of them, and they were flashing the brochure, shwoing me US pricing etc. They wanted to sell me the 5.1 for $1200, I managed to get them down to $600, but I was offered to be driven to an ATM.
I then refused, and they wanted to bring the price down further depending on how much I had on me.. I completely refused as I realised at that point, that they were not worth the bucks.. They are now in Melbourne, and it seems they are doing this all over the world.. Do a search for Fleetwood audio - scam and you will see the reviews..
I am glad, I had no money on me at the time..
