After four years of use, the rechargeable batteries in my Peugeot Elis Inox pepper and salt mills loose their charge too quickly and need replacing. Because in each mill the batteries are encased in two blocks of 3.6VDC/700 mAh each, they cannot be replaced off the shelve without modification. I asked Peugeot in an email to their aftersales department (via their European website) for advice on cost and where to source replacements. After 3 weeks, I am still waiting for a response/acknowledgement. Their seems no other way to contact them and considering the purchase price of each mill, this is an appalling lack of service and I can no longer recommend to purchase these mills or probably any product in their range.
