Laid a slab without checking foundations data

This company laid a defective slab around my pool, the result within 12 months was disastrous. The statutory authority in Queensland, Australia hired an engineer who determined this contractor should have known they were laying a slab on fill.
There is a 4m retaining wall to the rear of the property.
The owners now trade as Brisbane Landscaping Professionals in Brisbane. They have told mistruths all the way through the Queensland Court with regard to this. I'd say to anyone dealing with these people now using the name Brisbane Landscaping Professionals to choose another contractor.
