On December the ACCC accepted administrative undertakings from Ray White and one of it agencies (Ray White Paddington aka Glynis Austin Properties) following allegations of misleading and deceptive advertising, following complaints about the advertising and auction of three properties in Brisbane inner city suburbs in late the ACCC expressed concern that the properties promoted using indicative prices significantly below prices at which they were passed in at auction. Ray White Pty Ltd and its agent Glynis Austin, acknowledged that the actions may have raised implications under the misleading and deceptive provisions of the Act. ACCC chairman Mr Graeme Samuel said that he was disappointed with the levelof cooperation provided by Ray White Pty, Ray White Paddington and its agent. Ray White Paddington was fined for its disgraceful actions
