I ordered a free trial of reservatrol from this weight-secrets place, it was an ad that popped up on e-mail or facebook or something. It said FREE TRIAL for US5.95. On the 25th of July I received an e-mail saying I would receive the product within 8-10 days. On the 28th of July I had an unauthorised US79.95 taken out of my account from this company, on the 4th of August I received an e-mail from them saying that my 14 day trial period had lapsed and since I had not sent back the remaining product I would be charged US79.95, but I had not yet even received the product!! When I tried to write an e-mail complaining and asking for an explanation I simply received an e-mail completely ignoring my complaint and saying I had received the product and my 14 day trial period had lapsed and I was therefore charged US79.95 as stated on their terms and conditions. 1. I never read any such thing. 2. When I clicked on the link they sent me for these apparent terms and conditions there was no website to be found 3. The number supplied for customer service/complaints doesn't work/exist. How could my trial period had lapsed only 3 days after they confirmed they would be sending the product out? And whilst I am still trying to contact them to no avail, I still have not received the product!!
I am currently in the process of investigating them through my bank to try and have my money refunded and I have lodged a complaint with the office of fair trading.
