Audiofile Home Theater Retro Distributors PTY LTD WARNING! ripoff conman bullsh*t scam dodgy dishonest fake

Beware Australia, this utter crap that could only originate from none other than the United States has luered con artists in Australia as well. Beware Queenslanders espicially as I have been approached on 2 separate ocassions by different individuals in white Toyota Utility Vans with a blue "Thrifty" sticker on the sides of the van trying to sell me Audiofile Home Theatre systems.

Two males aged in their mid twentys will approach you at a set of traffic lights, at a bus stop or in a parking lot and tell you exactly the same bull shit as the Americans are told in such extreme exactness that it seems like it came from a school text book written for con artists. '

The picture in the glossy magazine, the story, its all the same bull shit. They even wear polo shirts with the name of the company they supposedly work for "Retro Distributors PTY LTD". Of course no such company exists but they will gladely provide you with a waranty or an invoice statement printed with the address and contact details of such a company which doesn't even exist.

The men I have been approached by go by the name of Daniel and Rezza. Daniel is white and is about 175cm tall and has long blond hair tied back. He is the one who sits on the passenger side and starts people talking.

Rezza is is dark skinned non Australian and claims he comes from Mauritius on the coast of South Africa however he seems to look Indian. He never got out of the van and did not say much. Both men remain cool calm and collected and seem to have a bullsh*t explaniation for anything you might ask them.

They operate in areas of high traffic flow (lots of potential buyers to suck in) and I have seen them on the city streets and through The Valley. I turned them down luckily as I only found out it was a scam when I was seeking information on the home theater brand they were selling "Audiofile" and then stumbled across this website which I am all too happy to contribute to.

If I and indeed you or anyone you know come accross these a$$holes take a registraition number and then call the police and hopefully these sort of people can be dealt with before they rip others off.
