Beware you may not be buying what you paid for:

I have just been shafted big time: My own fault you may say. But unfortunately not all of us can try before you buy, or have the ability to examine the item, for its accuracy in its description.
So we have to rely on honesty, unfortunately nowadays that’s where you enter shark infested waters, hoping to come out unscathed.
So when I came across a site on eBay, (the Russian roulette company), I noted two suppliers where selling OEM, the New 2011 Model, ready for delivery from there warehouse here in Australia, one was offering two years warranty.
The sites in question was extremeaction, and the other was horizon-store, the latter now gone dormant.: Though same contacts.
So I purchased from extremeaction, 2 x 1Kw Down wind latest model- 2011
Supposably: the three aerofoil blades are managed by a passive pitch control system that allows it to continuously generate usable energy in wind speeds that exceed rated wind speed.
I paid and waited for delivery, ;
When they arrived, The con note stated shipped by and from –

a business check through ACIC came up with:
SOLAR ENERGY STORE INTERNATIONAL: NSW. BN98531802
Under the umbrella of:
BULK IMPORTS & EXPORTS PTY LIMITED: ACN-131 768 084 ABN-74 131 768 084
No doubt, the importers of OEMs Old stock, which were sold off cheaply to make way for their new line.
So-when I examined the units, I found, that they where drastically different, from what was advertised.
Also all markings had been removed, as well as the OEMs contents sticker had been cleanly cut out both sides on both boxes, with a sharp-blade, and covered with two Fragile stickers, .
I then started investigating what I had received, :
So I contacted OEM, in CHINA, I was informed it was there old Up wind model, now no longer made, or available and only 500w. (Not available and I have two of them, wow.)
I am at present in the throw’s of reporting them to the Fair trading NSW, also lodging a complaint with the accreditation mob in NSW,
This was ether a scam, or deliberate fraud which I am about to discuss with the fraud squad in NSW, to see if I can lodge a complaint.
I will also see if there is any recourse through the ACCC.
I am also sure the ATO would be interested in this little clandestine business activity.
I did give extremeaction, the option to rectify the problem, twice.
I have given Solar Energy Store, (SES Unit 5, 110 Station Rd, Seven Hills, NSW, 2147) The same chance to rectify the problem.
