We just bought a new Pioneer Dreambook tablet running the Android system from Joyce Mayne in Wagga. It was our first Tablet, which we explained to the salesperson. He talked up the virtues of this product which we took home. Following the instruction manual it just did not download apps or other functions as it should have. We took it back the next day asking for a refund. They claimed that it worked properly, and that the error was on our part: user ignorance. Despite this, the salesperson could not successfully configure it to download and install an App while connected to his network in store. The staff including manager maintained that the device worked, and that they could not refund our money, only offer a credit in house. Eventually it worked out that they do not feel responsible for providing any service or post sales advice at all, and insisted that we contact Pioneer to sort out any issues. In fact the salesperson said that he was very nice to even tell us that, because it was not his responsibility once we have paid for the product. As far as I'm concerned the only thing that bricks and mortar retail has going for it is service. My advice to anyone wanting to purchase anything from Joyce Mayne is to find the product as cheap as you can on the internet and Avoid Joyce Mayne. Do not give them your money. Your life will be better for it.
