Flippa.com
Flippa Robs Our Money

I was browsing through all the sales listings on Flippa.com and found that almost no one put in the sincere efforts into their website listing like I did.

I am happy that this page will be online for years so that people browsing this auction site in the future will know what a great opportunity was missed by people who visited this listing.

I am pretty sure this is the 1 auction listing on this website that has had readers spending more than 5 minutes on the same page.

And, instead of featuring this YEnsa.com listing on the front page, Flippa has gone and done the exact opposite.

We are listed right at the end of the featured listings and right at the bottom of the category we listed Yensa.com in.

What a sad state of affairs on this website. I hope things change because I am pretty certain this website will not last another 12 months the way things are going.

The only buyers that have contacted me so far have been on PM and seem like complete scams.

From paying me in installments to asking for access to my website I have seen it all with these buyers.

I am even going to go ahead and post exactly how smoothly these scam buyers operate like.

Hi,
I like the site and am interested.

Is there any way that the current hosting be retained? As this is such an SEO play then retaining the current IP address is very important.

Hi FlippaScam,
The current hosting can be retained.

We have been hosting our site on Aruba.it for almost 10 years now.

So, there wouldn't be a better choice in our mind.

Thanks.

Hi DSilva,
That's good news.

I'm interested in agreeing a price with you and then, subject to some basic due diligence, completing the sale. What the lowest price will you take to sell the site please?

Hi FlippaScam,
My reserve price is $15000.

I can go a bit lower till $14000 but no more.

We will be using Sedo as our Escrow Service. And, I will gladly pay the fees there so do not worry about that.

Else, you can wire the money to my bank account. But, for your safety and mine I would definitely prefer Sedo.

FlippaScamBuyer:

Hi,
Thanks for the info.

I'm looking at the revenue potential and I am thinking that it will take me a little time to get revenue up to $1000/month. I want to try and cover my investment in 12 months (ish) and with so little guaranteed on the Internet I am thinking I can pay $10, 000 and make some money back in year 2 with a bit of luck. Would you accept that price please?

If so, please could you add my details to google analytics for this site ([email protected]). Also could you confirm the position regarding inbound links to this site from your other sites? Did you say they will stay for 3 years on your advert?

Kind regards

Hi FlippaScam,
$10, 000 is a bit too low for Yensa.com

I will definitely grant you access to Analytics as well as my XITI stats for the last 3 years for Yensa.com

However, I am only selling it right now since I need the money for a huge upcoming project else I would keep it for a year more, working on improving the revenue.

I definitely feel that Yensa is worth more than $15000 right now, since it gets 1, 00, 000 visitors each month, mainly from USA.

I have got 3 messages from Google Adsense to add in more than 1 ad units on most pages on Yensa.com since I am losing revenue. If you add these ad units I am sure that earnings will double or triple.

You will get the same link support as it is getting currently for the next 3 years. If possible, I will add in a few more back-links to some of the inner pages which have less back-links.

But, please do not take the price below $14, 000 since after auction sales fees, escrow and other charges, and the efforts to build this site, I will be left with $10, 000 anyway.

Kindly understand my position, I sense that you are an extremely genuine buyer but do not bring it below $14000.

I cannot sell it below $14000 and will work on it for a few months more before re listing it to get a better deal.

I know that's difficult but I will have no option if I do not get a genuine buyer in the next 7 to 10 days.

Thanks for your interest!

Hi DSilva,
Thanks for your message.

I really like the site but worried about whether I can monetise it sufficiently.

Im racking my brain trying to put together a deal on this one and I notice you have the male equivalent site about questions to ask a guy. Is that available as part of the deal at all? I think the 2 sites go well together and it would spread the risk a little for me. Is there anything you can do there?

Kind regards

Hi FlippaScam,
Isavo.net goes on sale in the first week of November too.

It is a site which I have managed to monetize much better than Yensa since there are much, much fewer pages.

The asking price of Isavo.net will be higher than Yensa since it grosses around $250 per month right now.

I am currently working on adding in more pages to both Yensa.com and Isavo.net and that will certainly boost the earnings.

What I could do is that I can give you 2 more sites in the deal of Yensa.com

The sites are called ticod.com and qizaa.com.

Both of them earn around $50 a month through Adsense alone.

They are not ranked that high on Google but they get visitors from my own website traffic so they earn $50 sometimes a bit less.

If this interests you then we can take this forward else I do realize that I need to do something to boost the earnings and quickly.

I own a terrific website, its all set up, easy to manage, but I failed to focus on the money aspects of it.

However, I do not wish to sell Yensa.com at a lesser rate than what I believe it is worth.

I started this auction figuring out that I would get at least $20, 000 just based on the traffic and earnings potential.

But, just a week later I have realized it isn't as easy as it seems.

Anyway, I do not want to keep complaining. Take a day or so to think about Yensa.

I cannot offer Isavo.net at all in this deal since it is worth more than Yensa.com any day of the year.

Thanks for your interest thus far!

DSilva

Hi,
Thanks for the access to analytics, the contents of which I have started to analyse.

I'm interested to know your best price on a combined sale of Isavo and Yensa please?

Hi FlippaScam,
As mentioned by you earlier Isavo.net would be a great match for Yensa.com.

I was expecting around $15000 or more for Isavo.net and was slated to sell it in November.

Isavo.net has a lot of earnings potential since it caters to the female market mainly in USA, UK and Canada.

You now have access to stats so you can verify the percentages.

FlippaScam, the reason I am selling these sites is because I need money, plain and simple.

I have run around 30 sites like these for the last 7 odd years and continue to run all 30 of them even today.

My intention was never to make money since my day business pays most of my bills.

However, things changed a bit for me since Mid-August and I realized that I had to invest in my dream, rather than wait for later. As later may never come.

That's when I really decided to sell a few of my sites and focus more on my future goal.

If you perform a reverse whois you will see that me and my family own over 1200 websites.

We have not sold a single one of our sites till now. This is our first major sale.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I cannot sell these 2 sites for a low rate.

I need well over 100, 000 dollars for my dream project and these few sites will probably give me 50% of what is needed.

Since, we both have been discussing this sale for almost 4 days now, the best offer I can give you for both these sites is $26000.

That is $14000 for Yensa.com and another $12000 for Isavo.net.

I will even give you another 10 websites related to both these sites markets so that the earnings go up by $100 or more.

Unfortunately, I do not have the time to update each and every site right now since most of my time has been going on developing this dream of mine.

If at all you believe in the potential of these sites then I will be pleased to sell it to you.

Thanks for your patience and interest so far.

S DSilva

Hi once again,
The deal of $26, 000 is the lowest I can go.

If you actually see some of the recent sales on Flippa you will understand that these 2 sites are worth more than most of them.

Also, the 10 sites I am offering you are all getting visitors. Around 20000 in total.

This is what I had to add. Thanks.

FlippaScamBuyer:

Hi DSilva,
I like the sites but I really cannot see a way I can reach your asking price. As things stand I think the sites will generate around $8, 500 - $9, 000 a year combined, so $26, 000 is a big stretch as an up-front payment. However I've been racking my brains and would like to ask you to consider this deal and see if it works for you.

Background:
By way of background, we run a number of web properties and serve around 6 million adverts a day. As a result of our massive ad volumes we have direct access to the key advertisers, giving us the best rates. We would like to suggest a deal that hopefully works for us both.

Offer:
$26, 000 to buy the sites, domains, content, code, intellectual property, server agreements and all other related matters to operate the site successfully.

Details:
We are very interested in purchasing your website. We are keen to structure the deal in a way that works for us both.

We propose to:
• Pay you 12 payments of $2, 167, with first payment due on the day the agreement is signed, then 11 further monthly payments due to you the same date every month thereafter until all 12 payments are made.
• You immediately grant us access to place our advert code on each page of your site.
• You support the site for 12 month as we migrate the knowledge to our developers.

What happens if:
• We make 12 payments of $2, 167 as per agreed schedule – you transfer the ownership of the site, domain, servers and all intellectual property to us. You have no further obligation.
• We make 4 payments to you then stop – you keep the site and the money we have paid you. You have no further obligations.

Summary
The aim of the deal is to pay you for your site over a period of 12 months which allows for a transition period. You retain full ownership of the site until all 12 payments are made, and so you have no risk. We will pay you $2, 167 a month, with the first payment immediately the agreement is signed. If we fail to make a payment then you keep the site and owe us nothing. When we make all 12 payments, the site and all related matters transfer to us.

Please let me know if that deal works for you.

Hi FlippaScam,
The offer is tempting but it goes against my reasons for selling this site.

Thanks for your interest thus far.

A quarter of a million visitors from North America and $600 PM is worth more than $26, 000 in our book.

Goodby and take care!

I need the money in the next 2 months so this deal could not have suited me.

I hope Flippa can do something about such scam buyers else it will be their downfall soon.

Also, the $95 paid for this listing should be refunded since neither has this listing been featured on the front page for too long nor has it been easy to find.

I read about another seller going through this ordeal themselves. His site schoolrack.com sold for $30, 000.

This auction has been a real waste of time.

If only I had read about FLIPPA earlier then I would not have wasted so much time listing my site and putting up so many comments about the site and update news.

There are literally hundreds and hundreds of scams reported about FLIPPA on Google.

Some of these reports even show how Flippa may be directly involved since they do not take any action.

Flippa needs to reveal more information about their office address, their owners names, their complete postal contact information.

There are no photos of FLIPPA offices nor of any of their staff anywhere on this site.

Even this guy ANTHONY's photo is obscure and not all recognisable.

What is Flippa hiding, normally people are pretty open about themselves.

Google and Wikipedia owners always update their personal information, post photos of their staff members and offices on their blogs, etc.

FLIPPA, I know you are smart enough to read this post or your watch dogs will forward you the same.

Please be kind enough to give a detailed explanation as to why this auction listing has not been featured well as well as post photos and real detailed information about your team members.
