Matthew Johns committed adultery and was a party to what could be described as gang rape.
It is not acceptable that we can now turn on our television in prime viewing time and see him being cheered and applauded. It is not acceptable that Channel Seven have put him in a position of influence over young boys/girls/men/women. It is not acceptable to commit despicable acts of immorality and then simply apologize.
It is not acceptable for us to pretend to forget about what he has done. Those closest to him will never forget nor will his victims.
Matthew Johns should not be on television at all, and most definitely should not be made the star of his own program.
Channel Seven should immediately end this program and not begin further programs suggesting that adulterers and pack rapists are men to be respected, cheered and applauded.
