I had a blood test done at merrylands dhm pathology. The nurse who attended me took the request letter most probably her superior to check something. Without communicating with me she took the sample she was very gentle in her work can't complain about that. After a few days to my surprise i received an invoice for $208.55 later on i found out that the request letter which i had on me was not dhm that, s why they are charging me. My concern is why wasn't i informed about it before the sample was taken. Obviously i would not have it done there. $208.00 is not a matter of joke for me. I pay my taxes pay my medicare levi every year why should I pay that much of money when it should be free. I feel dhm has tricked me by taking the blood sample and not letting me know that there will be a charge.
I would like to know what to do next because I do not want to pay for it. Medicare has sent me a cheque for $58.00 i can send that to you my invoice no 287195138p
