On Saturday 25Aug18 at 10.30am I attended Clinipath - Unit 5. 6 Barrington Street, Cockburn. The young girl working there was a lovely girl, but unfortunately when taking the bloods from my arm was extremely abrupt when removing the needle from my arm, I jumped slightly with the pain and a lump formed instantly on the inside of my arm with the abrupt removal of the needle. I spent the whole day in pain and the next day and as you can see from the 2nd photo the extent of the bruising now incurred on my arm. My concerns are that this young lady probably needs a little more training when it comes to taking bloods as I suffered pain for two days and would not want anyone else to undergo this when going for a blood test. This incident has left me quite concerned about future tests now.
