Expiry of air miles

Received documentation re expiry of Skywards miles 3 days prior to expiry, although dated on the letterhead as 10th march.

When tried to access Skywards unable to get through because of delays.
Computerised system would not allow me to go futher on the web page, even though notification given to system unable to remember password. recorded as unable to proceed.
Tried to access the Emirates high street website so I did not loose all 30884 Skywards miles without gaining something in return, unable to proceed as recording "password issue"
Finally managed to speak to representative on the Emirates high street website, who found that old email address in place -even though it was updated on system last October!
Went back into Skywards.com address to try again and no email received to alert of new password.
When I am able to speak to an operator it will be now the end of the 31st March and my understanding is that I will then be unable to redeem any of the points as this is the official cut off point.

Am not very happy about this situation as you can appreciate. My husband and I were planning to book some more flights with your airline in the near future and are having serious misgivings due to this matter
