I needed a driver for my canon scanner and logged onto canons website only to have this ad for 'DRIVER FETCH' appear - I assumed it was part of canons service and downloaded and installed the software.
On running I was then required to register and PAY for the driver. I became suspicious and googled DRIVER FETCH only to find it a scam.
I then went to my control panel to deinstall/ remove this software from my computer. As soon as the removal completed - I received a number of virus alerts from AVG (my virus scanner).
