I paid them good money for access to a movie that my husband wanted, that they stated they had access to the download. (found out later, whatever you type in, they have a download for!) As I couldn't get it anywhere else, I would pay for the privelage. They sent me a confirmation of the paymment email, but somehow the original email has gone! But I had saved a text file of the details. When I went back after the payment to the link but the movie had gone! And after downloading all the programs they insisted on, all the searches came up with nothing to do with what I searched for, and mainly porn!
I sent them an email stating my case and wanting my money back if they could not supply the movie link that I wanted. No answer! They offered a 7 day satifaction deal on the contract. Went to the site several times but could not log in, but still managed today through their support department to lodge a complaint! Still waiting! 7 days almost up! My bank says unless I cancel my credit card and wait for another to arrive and change any direct debits I already have, that there is no use in stopping the payment as it will just keep coming in until it is paid.
This has never happened to me before, and I have bought items from USA before, but not services.
I am an older person and am not happy about this scam, but I suppose there is always the first time for everything. Of course it has cost me more in Australian money because of the exchange rate, and even more because they added on some kind of anti-spy program.
Guess some people just don't care! but "what goes around, comes around"
