I was suspicious of qantas valet service in sydney the past couple of times I travelled. In this case I purposely left a particular amount of money in my coin compartment. On returning from my trip I discovered some of the money missing. I confronted qantas valet immediatly prior to leaving the drive way. they apoligised and promised to "look into it" for me. I then rang and spoke to the manager the next day and he said he will enquire as to who drove the car etc etc. After waiting another week I rang the manager again and he said that he cant do anything about it as I couldnt prove what was taken and that there would be no refund of the $174 I paid to have my car ransacked. The "drivers" were to be counselled for "not stealing" anything and after all that, the outcome was "too bad." BTW all qantas valet are sub contracted out to Equity valet.
