Great service, a warm welcome, and first name bases the likes that you can only really expect in a country town, a great bussy who went out of his way to pickup kids even if they didnt quite make it the bus stop. Thanks Dave.
On 12th September a new bus driver steps in, and I bear wi to his harsh treat ment of kids boarding the bus and verbal abuse of me in front a bus load of kids, not to mention he obviously cant drive because the bus was 6 feet from the kurb (weetbix packet lisence/volvo driver). The driver wasnt considerate enough to even lower the entry side so that my 4 year old son could board more easily.
Obviously a bus driver having a bad life, but he held out that he was the boss and he'll do what he wants.
Today he drives right 5 kids standing in situ always for the years gone by and being neglectful in his duty of care... so they walked
I urge anyone concerned by this behaviour to report Sheppardson Transport to the government agency that supplies the contract, this bus company must understand that it has a duty of care obligation to the kids first. Work out the admin ahead of time and dont just expect kids to know that things have changed without fair notic
