I enrolled in a "trial" of weight loss supplements. Like most trials, they had a questionnaire to qualify participants and they offered to pay the participants. Once I was enrolled I got access to the terms and conditions which revealed that you would only be paid if you actually lost the weight.
I went ahead with the trial but had serious concerns about some side effects that I had from the liver-cleansing supplement. When I contacted the organisers of the trial, I got no response whatsoever. I sent my diary at the the end of the trial and all the other media they requested and still got no response.
Now, to add insult to very suspicious injury, they have completely inexplicably deducted two lots of $2.82 out of my account and I have lost $0.06 in currency exchange fees too! It's not a lot of money but how much more are they planning on taking for no apparent reason?!
This is an appalling example of exploitation and endangerment.
