Since 1995, Uncle Harry's has manufactured a new, unique food brand "Uncle Harry's Natraburgers"(Reg.), Australia's 1st Grainburger made with wholegrains and fresh vegetables.  Although plant based (Not animal based) Natraburgers were usually displayed with traditonal  vegetarian foods like lentils and Soy--TVP etc.which disadvantaged sales to tradition food customers. Recently, Allan Rodd, Natraburger creator, decided a new food catagory was needed positioned between Traditional Food and Vegetarian Food . He called it Companion Food so Traditional Food customers could eat heathier foods without switching completely to Vegetarian Food. Rodd also changed Natraburgers to NATTY PATTY burgers (also NATTY Bites and GrainSteaks) because 'Natra' often was called 'Natural Burgers' and sounded too healthy for Traditonal Food customers. NATTY Burgers are fully oven roasted before freezing. They are now also sold in vacuum 4-packs displayed in chillers. At the Sydney Fine Food Show, Rodd introduced his 'Fusion Burger' based on sweet potato and couscous plus fresh vegetables. Unlike the firm, chewy Grainburgers, the Fusion Burger is a softer, smoother texture suitable for both younger and older people.
