I recently discovered three individual charges that appearred on my credit card statement...$19.99 at the end of December, $19.99 at the end of January and then $79.99 the beginning of February. My statement indicated that the company making the charge was datesnow Pty Ltd, Brisbane (www.datesnow.com).
I had no idea who this company was, how they obtained by CC# and who authorized this charge. After conducting a search on the internet, I discovered that others were also charged by this Company with prior authorization.
I have emailed the company and requested an immediate full refund for the three charges that appeared on my statement. I have also put a block on my credit card to prevent further charges. I emailed the company on 2/10/04. As of 2/12/04, I hadn't heard back from regarding this issue.
