Inappropriate for children time on tv

Adventure time I believe is inappropriate and is on from morning until evening accessible to my 7year old as on a cartoon channel. I work for familys sa working with children as a social worker for high risk infants so have relevent training and believe this is unsuitable??? not helped by daytime viewing???
