Rude, Unsympathetic, NOT for Families

We were booked into the hotel for two nights as my son had to have surgery at a nearby hospital. My son became unwell so the surgery was cancelled and we needed to return home as the surgery was rescheduled to a later date, we live in western NSW and it is a 5 hour trip to travel to Sydney and it is expensive and I did not want my Son to be sick at a hotel, he is only 16 mths old and I wanted to get him home to recover ready for our next trip in 2 weeks for his surgery.
To cut a long story short the staff were very rude and unsympathetic when we asked to change our booking to a later date when we had to return for my sons operation, they refused to give us a refund and did not even give us the option to see the manager.
I will never stay in this establishment again and will certainly be telling everyone I know about the unsympathetic and anti family friendly attitude of the staff here. I have stayed in a great many hotels over the years and have never experienced this, for the money you pay you expect alot more.
If you have a family I would not reccommend staying here
