Acai Berry SCAM!! Well don't i feel stuiped?
Have realised today that a total of $415.20USD has been charged to my credit card since the 29 December. I did not receive my free trial and have been charged monthly since.
My bank suggested i contact the company to ask for them to cancel payments and membership. As I did not receive a confirmation email when i signed up for the "free trial" i have spent excessive amounts of time trying to track them down. Finally i tracked them by copying the transaction details from my online statement into Google and BINGO!!! Their website is www.lifebooost.com. I proceeded to send them an email as per instructions from my bank. Now that this has taken place, Westpac can now lodge a dispute.
It amazes me that in todays day and age that companies like this can get away with what they are doing! I will be taking whatever avenues possible for me to have my money refunded in full.
