AEG FAVORIT 8081 Dishwasher
Costly replacement parts

We purchased an AEG FAVORIT 8081 Dishwasher 7 years ago paying $1800.
We expected the machine to give us at least 12 to 15 years service since there is only the 2 of us using it and it is not getting the normal use of a family.
It has broken down and we have been quoted $823 to replace the "main control board" which we cannot afford. We cannot understand why a simple replacement board should cost so much.
We are extremely disappointed by this product.
