Avoid 'RMC Transport' & 'MC Car Transport' (both showing a Brisbane address) and their owner 'Saba Hanania' (and his various aliases including 'Simon Claude' and 'Sam Hanania').

As reported in 'The Australian' (x2 articles), Hanania is a well known fraud who ripped off (and continues to rip off) law clients, drivers and car owners.

Saba Hanania (also goes by El Hanania) is an ex lawyer whose law firm (Saba Lawyers) was shut down in 2019 by the NSW Law Society for fraud. His MO was to take estimated costs for cases upfront (paid to the firms trust account) and then not show up for Court Appearances. In most cases Hanania's clients had to then seek other legal representation. Hanania stole literally $hundreds of thousands from defendants, accident victims, deceased estates and employees.

In addition to his thefts he has ordered goods and services, accepted delivery or used the services and then refused to pay the businesses. Hanania's fraudulant behaviour can be traced back to the early 2000's.

When it became obvious to Hanania he was facing sanction by the NSW Law Society he pivoted to the Car Transport Industry to continue his well practiced MO of quoting jobs, insisting on payment upfront then no showing. Hanania does do some transport work. After quoting a job, if a better job comes along he does that job and then no shows for the 'cheaper job'. He then blocks contact to discruntled car owners he has no shown on.

Hanania used the funds stolen from his law firms trust account to purchase transportation kit inlcuding trailers and SUV's to start his car transport business. The kit and the businesses are all now in his wifes name. To avoid Police and Process Servers callers at his Belfield NSW home are told he no longer lives there and his whereabouts is unknown. This is a lie that continues to serve him well. Complaints to Police have continued to result in no action, because they can't "find him".

Hanania's car transport kit is parked in the side streets around his home. Hanania is acting as a Shadow Director and driver for the car transport business which have a Queensland address listed for contact. This is a virtual office used to help avoid process servers and Police.

To get money out of a Law Firms Trust account requires authorisation by the client. I'll leave you to make some educated guesses on how he managed to extract hundreds of thousands of client funds including compensation moneys paid into the trust account.

At time of posting Hanania is operating under the name "Sam Hanania"

If you have been ripped off by Hanania, his aliases or businesses report it immediately to Police.
