Webace are an internet service provider located in Willeton/Perth, Western Australia who make a habit of using the credit card details they have been entrusted with to randomly withdraw funds from their exisiting (and former) clients' bank accounts. There are no end of such complaints on Australian ISP discussion boards. What at first seemed simply incompetence in retrospect is clearly criminal as it happens too regularly and too often. Attempts to contact Webace are futile. There is no physical address. And phone and email messages are ignored. I cancelled the service 12 months ago in disgust - after a series of such happenings. I was assured my credit card details had been deleted. This week (12 months later), I found another charge on my credit card! So... the cycle of phone calls, emails and complaints to relevant authorities (Bank, TIO, ACCC, Visa) starts again!
