On 19 October I placed an internet order, after receiving a sample pen, unsolicited by mail. I rang the Sydney number and got an operator who couldn't guarantee delivery of my selected pen by the date I needed them, the 18 November. She got me to change my order to another pen, saying she could guarantee delivery in 2 weeks, but to be sure she needed my credit card number to take a $200 deposit. I gave this.

Then I went overseas for 2 weeks on business, and when I returned tried to find out where my pens were. A letter had been received asking for a 20% deposit, but since this was paid on 19 Oct I thought the pens would be on their way. Another week passed and so I started to contact them again.

To my horror I discovered I had been taking to a Irish based call center and they had no idea who ran the company National Pen or pensaustralia.com. They couldn't help me at all.

I have been seriously ripped off not only for the $200 but because I have to go into a promotion without an important feature!

Be warned this company is not what they appear!
