Owner should be in marketing, not hospitality.

The owner here is way too familiar, devoid of any tact, and totally controlling in attitude, as is evident from the two A4 sheets of House Rules. Being told which cleaning agents are used on which surfaces, and where to find them is more information than I'm usually given in this type of accommodation.

I could not find recent reviews for a place that's been active for at least 5 years. And not a negative one among any of those few available. I now realise that the sites with reviews only allow one to add a review if booking was done via their site, or in the case of Facebook or Google, only if one already has a Facebook or Google account. There are no sites I have found, other than this one, to post any comments which cannot be removed by the owner.

Wendy is obsessed with ventilating the apartment to eliminate pet odour. The bedroom window has two rubber door stops ******* to the sill to prevent it from shutting. We were informed that some guests didn't approve of pets indoors. Why then they would they stay at advertised pet friendly accommodation?

If it had not been Christmas time, and pet friendly places so hard to find we would have cut our losses and gone elsewhere.
