Two men is a gold Kia (Pregio?) van, approached me in the car park outside of JB HI-FI in Narre Warren (next to bunnings).
The mens names were Dan and Roman, Roman looks mid twenties and has a wiry build, Roman was the driver and didn't say much.
Dan was a bit older, had some tattos and spoke very fast, and were all too keen to off-load the sound system. Dan jumped out of the car and did all the talking showed me how good this deal was and showed me pictures in mags and when I asked for his supervisors phone number, he gave it to me, who turned out to be an Indian sounding person, who assured this was legitimate.
While I was on the phone, without even telling them I wanted it, they started loading my car with the system. I then called the oracle (my Mother), who quickly searched the net for Retro and found this site and told me of what everyone has written, which was identical to what I had experienced.
I walked back and said, I wanted nothing to do with it, and to remove it from my car. Dan then offered the system for $1200 instead of $1500. I rejected that and sent them on their way.
Thank you everyone who has done a report on these individuals. On the spur of the moment it sounds like a good deal, but after some very quick research from my mother, I saw them for the scheming mongrels they are.
